About Defence Veterans Association Inc.
We acknowledge it can be a hard transition out of the forces and into civilian life. This
can be made that much harder when you are dealing with injury/disability or illness.
 Our members have all at some point walked this lonely road and we are here so that you
and your family do not have to walk it alone.
It is also of great importance for currently
serving members to have the ability to access support and understanding.
Beyond Welfare, Pensions and Advocacy staff we aim to provide a sanctuary. A venue and the
opportunity to chew the fat, relax and have a laugh. We intend on organising and supporting
activities for our members, family and friends in the not to distant future. Any suggestions
regarding possible activities and outings are welcomed and encouraged.
Currently our trained, caring and sharing volunteers are able to assist on Tuesday’s and
Wednesday’s, 9.00 am thru to 2.30 pm.
We would prefer you make an appointment to see our pension,welfare and advocate volunteers. That
said it is not mandatory and welcome one & all to drop in and have a chat.If there is any
questions or concerns you may have and you are unable to get in and see us.

We operate out of the Redlands RSL Veterans Community Centre,
1-11 Passage Street,(Straight across the road from the Redlands RSL. The building with the big mural on the side.)

Our welfare, pension and advocacy service is completely free from charge. We are able to
do this as we are a totally volunteer organisation and raise our funds via Fund Raising,
Grants and Donations.
