Redlands Vietnam Veterans Group Inc. operates out of the Redlands RSL Veterans Centre,
1-11 Passage Street, Cleveland. Tel: 3821 3999.
The group continues to grow as more people join us. A sign of our time perhaps. Our l
ast event of note was the ‘Big Morning Tea’ which raised a significant amount of
money for cancer research.
Our new Mayor and councilors joined in for this occasion. Following events included another BBQ
and soon after, Vietnam Veterans Day and our celebration of 10 years as a group.
Pension/Welfare Officers are available Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am—2:30 pm. Other times by appointment.
Family get togethers, Vietnam Veterans Day Memorial Service, Drop in for a chat Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Drop-ins every Wednesday from 12:00 noon at the Veterans Community Centre are still well
attended and Friday Frolics every 2nd Friday night from 5.00-7.00pm after the pay fortnight
are great but more members and guests are very welcome to attend. The kayak group are
doing a lot of stirring and not only in the local waters.
A new group of budding artists from Greenslopes Keith Payne Unit joined in on the 8th of July.
